Gemma began her HR career at Pitney Bowes Finance plc, where she had specific responsibility for personnel management in the French and German offices of the company. This involved recruitment, training & development and payroll management. In the UK, her major focus was training & development and improving HR processes. During her time with the company, she developed and introduced a new performance management and induction process, as well as co-ordinating a company-wide employee satisfaction survey and subsequent improvement initiatives.
On joining Persona, Gemma became a member of the assessment team and was involved in a variety of projects, involving assessing and role-playing at client assessment centres. She later took on more training & development projects and focused on design and delivery of a number of training programmes, such as Recruitment Skills and Performance Management and Coaching Skills. Although Gemma’s main focus is currently training & development, she remains actively involved with recruitment and assessment projects.
